Tuolumne Meadows Lodge Nearby Activities & Services

The dining room, situated alongside the Tuolumne River, provides rustic a la carte dining for breakfast and dinner.  Guests can also order box lunches at the front desk the night before needed.  Dinner reservations are required, and can be made by calling (209) 372-8413  There are no private cooking facilities available on premises.

Stable Rides
Our wranglers guide your trip with stories and information about Yosemite's high country history, folklore, flora and fauna. No previous riding experience necessary for the 2- and 4-hour guided trips. Reservations are recommended.

Rock Climbing
Beat the heat and the crowds and go climbing in Tuolumne Meadows. Yosemite Mountaineering School offers guided climbs and instruction for climbers of all ability levels. Call 209-372-8344 to make a reservation or visit us at the Tuolumne Meadows Sport Shop located right behind the gas pumps.

Hiking and Backpacking
The Yosemite Mountaineering School can provide a personalized guide to hike with you through Tuolumne Meadows. We offer day hikes and overnight backpacking trips. Reservations are required. Call us to learn more or reserve a guide 209-372-8344.

There is free shuttle service between Tuolumne Meadows Lodge and Tenaya Lake during the summer months; stops are made along the way at various trail heads. YTS tour buses provide service between Tuolumne Meadows, Tioga Road, White Wolf Lodge and Yosemite Valley for a fee. Call (209) 372-1240 for schedules and reservations.
