Climbing Lessons at Yosemite

Climbing Lessons at Yosemite

Offered daily April thru October, our Yosemite rock climbing classes are designed to give climbers of all levels new and extended skill sets. Reservations are strongly recommended, and customized classes are also available. All of our climbing classes average seven hours in length, unless otherwise noted, so prepare for a full day of fun. Classes meet daily at 8:30 am at either the Mountaineering School in Curry Village or in Tuolumne Meadows. Each class builds upon the other - and they are designed to be taken sequentially, so that you can pick the single class you need, design the perfect multi-day seminar or come up every couple of weeks and complete our entire Yosemite climbing training program. Maximum size for private and group classes are 6 students per instructor.

Minimum age for climbing lessons is 12.  Children that are 10 and 11 years old can join the regular classes with a supervising adult present.  Children under 10 can participate in a private lesson with an accompanying adult.
