Map of Shuttle bus route in Yosemite National Park
Though cars and other private vehicles are allowed in Yosemite, including Yosemite Valley, our Free Hybrid Shuttle System is an option available to you and is a great way to experience Yosemite!  View a map of the Yosemite Valley shuttle bus system by clicking on the thumbnail image to the left.
Free Yosemite Valley Shuttle
The free Valley Shuttle runs on a continuous loop through Yosemite Valley throughout the day all year-round. The daily start and end time for the shuttle varies with the season and a few stops are seasonal and or stop service at dark. Park your car at your hotel or campground, or use the day parking lots located in Yosemite Village and Curry Village. The Valley Shuttle stops at all lodging and camping venues as well as the major eateries, shopping areas, popular attractions and trailheads. Avoid the hassles of parking lots and getting lost as you relax, take in the sights and let us do the driving! During the winter the Yosemite Valley Shuttle system operates 7am - 10pm and runs every 30 min. In the summer, buses run every 5 - 10 minutes. Get a map of the Valley Shuttle Bus Route here.
Free Wawona-Mariposa Grove Shuttle
The free Wawona Shuttle operates from mid-Spring through the first snowfall that closes the Grove Road. At the beginning and end of the season, service may be limited to weekends only, but for the majority of the season, the shuttle runs 7 days a week. The Wawona Shuttle is a continuous loop that runs between the Wawona Pioneer Gift and Grocery Store and the Big Trees parking lot in the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias. The loop runs on a 30-minute frequency with a few stops along the way, such as the Wawona Golf Course, the Stables and the Pioneer History Center. There is no service between Yosemite Valley and Wawona.

The free Tuolumne Meadows Shuttle operates from mid-June through Labor Day (weather permitting). The shuttle operates on a continuous loop from Tuolumne Meadows and Olmsted Point with scheduled stops as well as flagged stops along the way; there is limited service to Tioga Pass. This Shuttle is a great way to get from Day Parking to your trailhead and back again. Service operates on a 30 +/- minute frequency.  Service from Yosemite Valley to the Tuolumne Meadows Shuttle is also available via the Tuolumne Meadows Tour & Hikers Bus. Testimonials

“We try to eat at the Mountain Room everytime we visit Yosemite. My son has Celiac Disease and in the past The Mountain Room has always been very accommodating. This time when I asked if a particular item was gluten-free, they presented a gluten-free menu. IN THE MIDDLE OF YOSEMITE!!! I can't tell you how great that is. It can be so difficult for my son to have a nice meal like everyone else, and there were a ton of delicious options on your gluten-free menu. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
