Yosemite Park Events

There is an endless array of Yosemite events and adventures throughout the year. See the latest set of offerings in the Yosemite Guide, the park's newsletter.

NASTAR Races – Held every Saturday and Sunday and during school holidays, NASTAR races are fun for all levels of skier and snowboarder.

Nordic Holiday Race – This special event enters its 41st season with three cross country ski races combined into a single package. A fun tradition at Badger Pass, participants choose from classic, freestyle, or telemark races or participate in all three.

Live Music – On weekends throughout the season, bands play live music on the deck or in the Snowflake Room inside the Day Lodge.

Yosemite Winter Club Events – Yosemite’s Winter Club has a proud tradition in Yosemite since 1928, when an eager Don Tresidder set about making Yosemite a destination for winter sports. Today the Winter Club sponsors a wide array of events such as the Ancient Jocks Race, the Snow Ball, hockey, figure skating lessons, and the Yosemite Ski Team.

Earth Day – We take Earth Day very seriously in Yosemite with fun activities and educational programs. We have face painting, family activities, and many booths and displays where you can find out about green programs in Yosemite.

Food and Wine Events – Yosemite hosts a series of fine dining events: Vintners’ Holidays in November, the amazing Bracebridge Dinner performances in December, and Chefs' Holidays in January. Enjoy excellent cuisine in the stunning setting of Yosemite Valley.
