Visit Yosemite's High Sierra Camps and view the grandeur of Yosemite’s famous wilderness on the back of an experienced mule. You will forge a unique bond with your long-eared, sure-footed friend over 4 or 6 days, as you travel between High Camps along trails the U.S. Cavalry rode a century ago. View some of the most beautiful country on this earth, such as alpine lakes and meadows, massive granite outcrops, and an abundance of native flora and fauna as you meander along the high country trails on the back of your new best friend.
A Typical Day
Wake to a delicious and filling hot breakfast at the High Sierra Camp. When you're finished, the guide/packer will already have your mule at the hitching post, ready to go. You'll spend between 3 - 5 hours in the saddle during the day, with numerous stops along the way for lunch, relaxation, and photo opportunities. Arrive in the next camp in the mid-afternoon with plenty of time to explore or just plain relax before a hearty dinner, prepared by High Camp staff.
