If you thought Yosemite by daylight was inspiring, see the Valley in an entirely new and magical light during the Moonlight Tour. Following the same route as the Valley Floor Tour, participants ride in an open-air “green dragon” tram under the glow of a full moon.
These two-hour Yosemite night tours take place during the full-moon from May through October, conditions permitting.
Duration: 2 hours
Departure Time: Departure times vary based on moon-rise. Current times and dates are listed in the Yosemite Guide, at our Tour & Activity Desks or you can call (209) 372-4FUN (4386).
You Will See: Many of Yosemite's most famous landmarks: Half Dome, El Capitan, Yosemite Falls, Bridalveil Fall – all by the light of the moon!
Available: Yosemite Moonlight Tours are available on the four nights leading up to the full moon - and on the night of the full moon- during late spring, summer, and early fall months, weather permitting.
