Internet and Cell Phone Access in Yosemite

Yosemite Connectivity: Internet and Cell Service

Yosemite Cell Phone Service

Yosemite´s cell phone service is spotty because of the mountain terrain, and may not always be available in your location. However there are a few places where you are likely to get connectivity in Yosemite.

For AT&T and Verizon customers, digital cell service in Yosemite is available in and near Yosemite Village, with weak signals found sporadically elsewhere in Yosemite Valley. Verizon customers with analog-capable phones may receive also cell service near other areas in and arround Yosemite, such as Wawona, Crane Flat, El Portal, and Tuolumne Meadows.

Testimonials

“I went on the highsierra camp loop in 1956 with a guide and loved it. It was the beginning of my love for Yosemite and the hihg country. I am now lucky to be able to do it again in 2010. I can´t wait to do it again. Wonderful experience. I am 78 years old and still can hike 8-10 miles. So you are never too old!!”
