At Yosemite, bike rentals are available during the warmer months of the year. Small bikes, trailers, and 'tag-a-long' bikes for children, along with tandem and hand crank bikes for the visually or physically impaired are available. Helmets are available for all riders, and are required for riders under the age of 18. Children must demonstrate the ability to ride a rental bike. Otherwise, children who weigh 80 lbs. or less may be transported in a bike trailer and children who cannot ride a bike on their own utilize a tag-a-long bike that is connected to an adult rental bike. With more than 12 miles of paved, mostly flat trails, riding a bicycle is a fun, easy way to see Yosemite Valley.
Yosemite Lodge Bike Stand is open 10:00 am to 5:30 pm daily, closed for lunch from 1:30 to 2:00 pm. The last bike rental goes out at 4:15 pm. All rental bikes are available first-come, first-served - no reservations are available.
The Curry Village Bike Stand is closed for the 2014 season.
