Badger Pass Ski Area® Information

• Open daily from 9am to 4pm during the season
• Season is generally mid-December to late March, conditions permitting
• 10 runs: 35% beginner, 50% intermediate, 15% advanced
• Beginner-friendly terrain park
• 5 lifts: 1 triple-chair, 3 double-chair, 1 handle tow
• Elevation - 7,200 ft to 8,000 ft, vertical drop - 800 ft
• Average Temperature range - 30´ to 60´ Fahrenheit
• The best place in the west to learn to ski or board, 85% of our slopes are devoted to beginner and intermediate levels.
• Badger Pups kids downhill program, offering customized instruction for little skiers ages 4 to 6 years old.

Off-the-Grill
Fast food on the main floor of the Day Lodge; pizza, hamburgers, chicken strips, deli sandwiches, salads, soups, chili, nachos, an array of fast foods and soft drinks.

Snowflake Room
Deli sandwiches, salads, soft drinks, wine, beer, cocktails, open 11am to 4pm weekends and holidays.  Be sure to check out the great photos of old time skiers and their vintage equipment adorning the walls of the Snowflake room.

Road, snow and weather conditions, messages, NASTAR® and ski area information.

Sport Shop
Ski apparel, accessories, souvenirs, hats, gloves, goggles.

Getting There
Yosemite´s Badger Pass® is a one-hour drive from Yosemite Valley on Hwy 41 to the Badger Pass Road. A free Shuttle leaves daily from Curry Village®, The Ahwahnee® and Yosemite Lodge at the Falls. The Badger Pass Shuttle Bus schedule can be found here. Check hotel front desks for more information.

Badger Pass has two terrain parks.  The upper terrain park offers fun for the whole family, with small to medium jumps, rails and boxes.  It is built for advanced beginner to intermediate riders and skiers wanting to learn and test their new skills in a non-intimidating environment.

The lower terrain park caters to the intermediate to advanced rider and skier with medium to large jumps.
