Terms & Conditions of Lodging Reservations
Terms, Conditions & Booking Policies
The following terms and conditions of DNC Parks & Resorts at Yosemite, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “we”, “our” or “us”) apply to your reservations and by making your reservations using our on-line reservation system you understand, acknowledge and agree to our terms and conditions. We reserve the right to cancel a reservation without notice if we become aware of or are notified of any fraud or illegal activity associated with this reservation.

Deposit - All reservations require payment of the first night rate as a deposit. Some packages and special events require full payment at the time you make your reservations. Daily rates do not include applicable state and county taxes for charges for any other services.

Cancellations and Changes - Requests for cancellation or changes may be made by calling our Central Reservation Office at (801) 559-4872. We must receive requests for cancellation of or change to your reservations at least seven (7) days prior to your scheduled arrival date for a refund of your deposit. As for reservations related to special events in Yosemite, we must receive your cancellation or change requests at least thirty (30) days prior to your scheduled arrival date. Cancellation or changes to Housekeeping Camp reservations may only be changed after we receive your deposit, and a $10.00 handling fee, per unit will be charged for each change or cancellation. If you fail to arrive on the scheduled arrival date, your reservation will be canceled and you will not receive any refund or credit. We strictly enforce our cancellation/change policy and do not allow any exceptions.

Special Requests - Special requests, when allowed in our sole discretion, are noted and maintained in the reservation system; however, we cannot guarantee any specific rooms or locations you request.

Third Party Reservations/Credit Card User - If you are making reservations on behalf of another person (“credit card holder”), you make the following representations and warranties and further agree to comply with the terms and conditions stated below: (1) You have obtained legal authorization from the credit card holder to make reservations on behalf of the credit card holder, to pay all advanced deposit charge(s) using the credit card holder’s credit card and agree to our terms and conditions on the credit card holder’s behalf and thereby bind credit card holder to our terms and conditions; (2) The Guest Information you have provided above, e.g., name, phone number, and address, is that of the credit card holder; (3) You have advised the credit card holder that we do not impose any third party booking charges and we will accept reservations directly from the credit card holder; and (4) You will inform the credit card holder of all our Terms and Conditions, and provide the credit card holder with reservation confirmation(s) and any other information or correspondence pertaining to the credit card holder’s reservations.

Travel Agents - Our on-line reservation system is not intended for travel agent bookings. Travel agents may make commissionable reservations through GDS or non-commissionable reservation by calling our Central Reservation Office at (801) 559-4884. We reserve the right to refuse travel agents bookings should we discover that a travel agent has made or attempted to make bookings using this on-line reservation system contrary to our policy. Accommodations – Room types and size of accommodations are not guaranteed. Comparable accommodations may be assigned to fit the size of your party at time of check-in.


OTHER INFORMATION

Pets - No pets are allowed in any guest accommodations or public areas.

Cooking - Cooking is not allowed in any accommodation other than at the Housekeeping Camp.

Check-in and Check-out Times - Your accommodations are normally available after 5pm of your scheduled arrival date. Check out time is by 11am of your scheduled departure date.  The exception being The Ahwhanee: check in begins at 4pm and check out is extended until noon.

Non-Smoking Facility - National Park Service has designated all public areas as "non-smoking" and smoking is not allowed in these areas.

Transportation - CA Hwy 140 is the recommended route to Yosemite National Park in winter. Tioga Road from Crane Flat over Tioga Pass to Lee Vining is closed in winter. It is recommended that you carry tire chains in your vehicle (including rental and 4-wheel drive) between November and April, as they may become mandatory at any time. There is no fuel available in Yosemite Valley. Fuel is available in Wawona on Wawona Road, at Crane Flat on Big Oak Flat Road, and seasonally in Tuolumne Meadows.

Bear Awareness and Food Storage – Yosemite is a bear habitat. Proper food storage is required by law.

Entrance Fee – A $20.00 per vehicle entrance fee will be charged at the time you enter Yosemite National Park.

Television/Telephone - The Ahwahnee and Yosemite Lodge at the Falls are the only accommodations with televisions in guest rooms. The Ahwahnee and Yosemite Lodge at the Falls are the only accommodations with in-room telephones. These amenities are not available in guest rooms at any other facilities.

Ahwahnee Dining Room - Please call (209) 372-1489 for reservations. Dinner dress code in The Ahwahnee Dining Room is 'Resort Casual'.  Gentlemen are asked to wear collared shirts and long pants.  Ladies are asked to wear dresses, skirts or slacks and blouses.  Children over the age of four are asked to dress accordingly. Breakfast, brunch and lunch dress are casual.

Travel Insurance - We are proud to offer overnight guests staying in our accommodations the opportunity to protect their travel investment by purchasing a low-cost comprehensive travel insurance plan that covers trip cancellations, travel delay, baggage delay, medical coverage, emergency medical transportation, and Travel Guard Assistance.
