Yosemite Park Partners

As you can imagine it takes countless individuals and agencies to help care for Yosemite National Park, and at DNC, we’re proud to work alongside these fabulous organizations that share our passion for the park, and contribute in so many ways to the richness of the Yosemite experience.

National Park Service

The National Park Service has been dedicated to protecting and sharing “America’s Best Idea” since 1916. We all have their ongoing support and leadership to thank for the amazing natural experience that we have today. If you’re looking for current conditions, information on campgrounds, or special permits (among many other things) their website is the definitive resource.

Yosemite Conservancy

Formed in 2010 through a merger of Yosemite Fund and Yosemite Association, the Yosemite Conservancy works tirelessly to rally support for the park and get behind projects and programs that preserve, protect and enhance it. The 2011 Signature Project supports Youth in Yosemite, while other funding goes to projects spanning preservation, restoration, maintenance, research and more. If you love Yosemite, please join DNC in supporting the Yosemite Conservancy.

Yosemite Institute/NatureBridge

Reaching out to youth for nearly four decades, Yosemite Institute/NatureBridge inspires students in nature’s most spectacular classroom. In addition to teaching science, leadership and stewardship, Yosemite Institute sparks personal connections with Yosemite that last a lifetime. Visit their site for more information on Yosemite Institute, or to see how you or your child might benefit from their educational programs. Scholarship assistance is available.

The Ansel Adams Gallery

A Yosemite tradition since 1902, The Ansel Adams Gallery is still owned and operated by Ansel Adams’ family, and serves as a center of arts and photography in the park. You can visit the gallery online or in person, to browse their fine art prints by Ansel Adams and other talented artists, pick up some postcards, or sign up for a photography class or workshop from their expert staff.
