Guided Trips to Yosemite's Glacier Point Hut

Guided Glacier Point Hut Details

In Preparation:
Don’t forget to fill out the Trip Registration & Medical Questionaire (pdf) and turn it in to the Cross Country Center before your trip.  This allows us to better plan for your arrival.

You can also download a Participation Agreement (pdf), and have that ready when you arrive.

When/Where to Meet:
Meet your guide at the Badger Pass Cross Country Center at 9 am the morning of your trip.

What to Expect:
After all the participants arrive and complete all of the necessary paperwork, the guide(s) will give an orientation before we begin skiing.  The trail to the Glacier Point Hut is roughly 10.5 miles, and we usually stop at a designated point along the way to have some lunch.  At the end of the trail is a warm lodge, a hot meal, and a relaxing evening at “the rim of the Valley”.

For those who have signed up for a 2-night trip, the next day will be a layover day, with the option of just resting, exploring the area, or joining a guided ski tour of some of our favorite locations.

On the morning you are scheduled to depart, we will eat breakfast, pack lunch, and ski back to Badger Pass.
