Curry Village Accommodations

Mother Curry's Camp Etiquette

  • Respectful noise levels are to be maintained at all times of the day.
  • Quiet Hours are posted as 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.  All guests are expected to be respectful of their fellow campers and abide by these hours.  Failure to do so may result in your removal from the camp.
  • Should you find that your neighbors are not being respectful, please report to the Front Desk or call extension 8333 from any house phone or (209) 372-8333 from your cell phone.
  • Proper food storage is required at all times.  Please see Bear Aware information.
  • Do not leave valuables (such as jewelry, cash, electronic items, etc) in your accommodation or your bear- proof storage locker.  Safe Deposit boxes are available at the Front Desk.
  • Cooking is not permitted in or around your accommodations, on top of bear-proof storage lockers and all other areas within Curry Village.  Check with the Front Desk for appropriate picnicking locations.
  • Pets are not permitted in our accommodations.  Any pets on the Curry Village grounds must be on a leash.  Kennels are available seasonally and are located at the Stables.
  • Please do not engage your vehicle’s alarm system as the sound of alarms greatly echoes throughout the Valley disturbing the peace.
  • For everyone’s safety, private vehicles are not permitted on the Curry Village grounds.  If you need luggage assistance, we have a bellperson who is typically available from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  • In our canvas tent cabins, linens and towels are provided upon your check-in, however, beds are not made up.  Should you need assistance, please contact the front desk.
  • Daily room servicing in canvas tent cabins and cabins without private bath consist of the emptying of trash and replacement of towels only.  Should you need further servicing, please contact the front desk.

Plus, if you are staying in a Canvas Tent Cabin...

  • Any food, food related items or toiletries are to be kept stored in your bear-proof storage locker located at your tent.  Keep the locker doors closed.  Treat this locker like you would your refrigerator at home; you would never leave the door open.  Failure to comply may result in a $5000 fine and /or your removal from the camp.
  • Please remove all your items from your bear-proof locker upon your departure.
  • Smoking is not allowed in the tents.
