Yosemite´s Badger Pass® in California is the ideal place to learn to snowboard..  With gentle terrain and beginner lifts, up-to-date rental equipment and a Guaranteed Learn to Snowboard lesson package, this is a great place for families to learn to snowboard together.  You´ll also find a fun and beginner-friendly Terrain Park with over 15 snowboard features and plenty of room to learn new maneuvers.

Skilled instructors at the Yosemite´s Badger Pass Ski & Snowboard School teach beginning, intermediate and advanced snowboarding lessons.

    • Open daily from 9am to 4pm during the season
    • Season is generally mid-December to late March, conditions permitting
    • 10 runs: 35% beginner, 50% intermediate, 15% advanced
    • Beginner-friendly terrain park
    • 5 lifts: 1 triple-chair, 3 double-chair, 1 handle tow
    • Elevation - 7,200 ft to 8,000 ft, vertical drop - 800 ft
    • Average Temperature range - 30´ to 60´ Fahrenheit
    • The best place in the west to learn to ski or board, 85% of our slopes are devoted to beginner and intermediate levels.
    • Badger Pups kids downhill program, offering customized instruction for little skiers ages 4 to 6 years old.
