Yosemite's Badger Pass® in Northern California is the ideal place to learn to snowboard.  With gentle terrain and beginner lifts, up-to-date rental equipment and a Guaranteed Learn to Snowboard lesson package, this Northern California snowboarding park is a great place for families to learn to snowboard together.  You'll also find a fun and beginner-friendly Terrain Park with over 15 snowboard features and plenty of room to learn new maneuvers.

Skilled instructors at the Yosemite's Badger Pass Ski & Snowboard School teach beginning, intermediate and advanced snowboarding lessons.

    • Badger Pass closes for the season on Sunday, March 31, 2013.  
    • During the season, Badger Pass Ski Area is open daily from 9 am to 4 pm
    • 10 runs: 35% beginner, 50% intermediate, 15% advanced
    • 5 lifts: 1 triple-chair, 3 double-chair, 1 handle tow
    • Beginner-friendly terrain park
    • Elevation - 7,200 ft to 8,000 ft, vertical drop - 800 ft
    • 85% of our slopes are devoted to beginner and intermediate levels - great for learning to ski or board
    • Average Temperature range - 30° to 60° Fahrenheit
    • Badger Pups - a downhill skiing program offering customized instruction for little skiers ages 4 to 6 years old.
