Yosemite Valley Moonlight Tour

If you thought Yosemite by daylight was inspiring, see the Valley in an entirely new and magical light during the Moonlight Tour. Following the same route as the Valley Floor Tour, participants ride in an open-air “green dragon” tram under the glow of a full moon.

These two-hour, late night Yosemite tours take place on full-moon nights from May through October, conditions permitting.

Duration: 2 hours

You Will See: Many of Yosemite's most famous landmarks: Half Dome, El Capitan, Yosemite Falls, Bridalveil Fall – all by the light of the moon!

Available:  on the 4 nights leading up to the full moon and on the night of the full moon during late spring, summer, and early fall months, weather permitting.

Meet the Tour: In front of Yosemite Lodge at the Falls under the porte cochere. If you take the free park shuttle, get off at Stop #8.  If driving, please allow extra time for parking.
