Yosemite High Sierra Camps Guest Services

Dinner and breakfast, high-energy camp food to get you going, are served family-style in a main dining tent. Sack lunches also may be purchased at each camp if ordered the night before needed. (Other backpacking visitors must make advanced reservations. Call (801) 559-4884.

The hike into the camps can be a strenuous all-day adventure. Exploring the surrounding areas, fishing, swimming and day hikes are also popular with camp guests. The area surrounding each camp is unique and offers its own surprises and treasures. Be sure to ask your hosts for ideas.

Ride Don’t Walk.  You can spend 4 or 6 days with a professional guide packer, exploring and learning about Yosemite.  Then, top off your days with a stay at a High Sierra Camp, enjoying delicious food and good company.

Children must be at least 10 years old and have riding experience to participate in overnight saddle trips.
