Yosemite High Sierra Camps Guest Services

Dinner and breakfast, full of high-energy camp food, are served family-style in a main dining tent. Sack lunches also may be purchased at each camp if ordered the night before needed.

 

Meals Only Options
We are limited to serving 6 people per camp per night who do not have High Sierra Camp reservations, and are planning to sleep elsewhere. Advance reservations are required, and we recommend that guests enter the lottery for meals only. You may also check back for cancellations by calling (801) 559-4909 starting April 1, 2009.

If a guest makes a Meals Only reservation we will also arrange for their Wilderness Permit for each night booked. These permits can be picked up at the Permit Office by showing their reservation confirmation.

The hike into the camps can be a strenuous all-day adventure. Exploring the surrounding areas, fishing, swimming and day hikes are also popular with camp guests. The area surrounding each camp is unique and offers its own surprises and treasures. Be sure to ask your hosts for ideas.

Wish you could bring a few more things with you for your High Sierra Camp stay, but don’t want to carry it?  For only $5/lb. we carry it for you on one of our regular supply trains into the camp.  This rate is only available for single camp destinations.  If you would like a personally arranged team to carry items from camp to camp, the Custom Pack and Saddle rates will apply.
